Mums2Be - Pregnancy Exercise Class

Mums2Be is a specialised pregnancy exercise class based in Langley, Slough. The mums2be class is  for an hour desinged to benefit mums2be in their 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
It is class where new mums2be can feel confident in exercising.  The class aims to help strengthen and maintain the body during pregnancy.

The class starts with a warm-up which gently increases circulation and includes mobilization exercises and stretches.
The main section of the class is a circuit which consists of a variety of exercises which aim to improve posture, strengthen the core muscles (abdominals/lower back) and maintain fitness.  There are breaks in-between the circuits and plenty of time to rest if you need a break.
There is then a cool down and stretch followed by pelvic floor and relaxation exercises.

The classes are kept small so each person has individual attention.  So everything you do is correct and safe.  You’re not lost in a big class.

Testimonials

"Mums2Be is a great way to meet other local mums to be in Slough, and have a giggle, as well as keeping active throughout your pregnancy - a time when you need all your stamina. I found it a positive experience and felt good for taking part every week. Each exercise had a gentler or more challenging option, depending on your ability and the stage of your pregnancy. The exercises collectively, focused on a good all over body conditioning, and also taught us about good posture, which was really important when carrying such a heavy front load! I would recommend mums2be class to anyone who wants to keep fit, have an active pregnancy and have fun at the same time. I believe that exercising under the correct guidance in this way, contributed to a smoother and happier pregnancy, where I had fewer of the complaints such as backache, fatigue and breathlessness."
