 Yummy Mummies Circuit       

Yummy Mummies and babies circuit is 60 minute postnatal  exercise circuit class  based in Datchet, SLough.  There are a variety of exercises to help tone and strengthen the body following pregnancy. New babies are welcome! You are welcome to join in  Yummy Mummies once you have had your 6 week check.  If you had a c-section you will have to wait a little longer between 8-12 weeks once it feels comfortable to exercise and you have had the Ok from your doctor or midwife.

The class starts with a warm-up which gently increases circulation and includes mobilization exercises and stretches.

The main section of the class is a circuit which consists of a variety of exercises which aim to improve posture, strengthen the core muscles (abdominals/lower back) and improve fitness.  There are breaks in-between the circuits and you can see to your baby any time you need to.

There is then a cool down and stretch followed by pelvic floor exercises.

In Yummy Mummies all the exercises are easily adaptable so if you never exercised or feeling tired there are easy options of each exercise and vice verse if you want a harder option that is available if suitable. Everyone if different, so you can progress at your own level.  

In yummy mummies babies are welcome so you can keep your new arrival close by and don't have to waste money on expensive child care. If your baby cries you are there to settle them.  Should they need feeding or changing that’s not a problem.  Everyone is in the same situation and sometimes they cry but quite often they just fall asleep.  It can be hard work watching mummy exercise!

    Wednesday 10.30am - 11.30am 

Tea, coffee and soft drinks are available down stairs and places to sit and have a chat with other mums after the class.
